The Powermatic 209BHH-4 is a 20-inch stationary thickness planer built specifically for woodworking production environments equipped with three-phase power. The 209BHH-4 is powered by a 5 HP, three-phase motor factory-wired for 460V, ready to connect directly to high-voltage commercial and industrial electrical systems without modification. Its 20-inch cutting width and 8-inch maximum board thickness capacity enable high-throughput processing of wide panels and heavy stock. The four-row helical cutterhead carries 68 four-sided carbide inserts operating at 5,200 RPM, producing a consistent, professional surface finish with reduced noise and tearout. Individual insert access allows fast rotation or replacement, minimizing production downtime. An integrated digital readout (DRO) provides exact, repeatable thickness control, and two speeds, 16 FPM and 28 FPM, let operators balance finish quality and throughput based on material and schedule demands. Solid cast iron infeed and outfeed tables span a combined 51-1/2-inch surface, delivering the rigidity and vibration damping required for consistent results at production volumes.
