The Powermatic PM2020B woodworking lathe brings many of the features found on larger Powermatic lathes into a space-saving design. Powered by a 2 HP motor operating on 220V single- or three-phase power, this lathe is ideal for bowl turning and projects that benefit from a shorter bed. It includes a sliding headstock, electronic variable speed with high and low ranges, spindle locking, and a digital RPM readout. Additional refinements include built-in spindle indexing, a redesigned tailstock with internal storage, and a self-ejecting quill with laser-etched markings. With integrated tool storage and multiple mounting positions for optional extensions, the PM2020B offers versatility without sacrificing performance.
