Weighing approximately 1,300 pounds, this heavy-duty planer features a robust cast iron construction that minimizes vibration and maintains consistent planing accuracy over years of use. Powered by a 7.5 HP single-phase motor operating on 230V, it is well suited for small to medium production shops with continuous planing requirements. The straight-knife cutterhead is equipped with four high-speed steel knives rotating at 4,800 RPM, delivering up to 19,200 cuts per minute for smooth, controlled material removal. A hinged top provides easy access to the cutterhead and rollers, while a 5-inch dust port allows simple connection to dust collection systems. Anti-kickback fingers and a closely positioned pressure bar help maintain stock control and surface quality. The sectional infeed and chip breaker design allows multiple boards to be planed simultaneously, and adjustable bed rollers support both roughing and finish operations.
