The steel sanding drums feature a hard durometer rubber coating, ensuring even pressure across the workpiece while minimizing marking and heat buildup. An independently adjustable rear drum allows fine-tuning for optimal finish control. A full-size cast iron table, supported by four solid jackscrews with chain-driven timing, stays level throughout its travel to maintain consistent sanding thickness across wide stock. The heavy-duty poly conveyor belt, driven by a 1/4 HP feed motor, provides positive stock control and even feeding. The two-speed forward/reverse gearbox offers sanding speeds of 8 and 12 surface feet per minute, allowing operators to balance material removal and finish quality.
